“It’s a pleasure having Georgia at the barn. She’s just been a wonderful student and addition. She loves to learn, she loves to work with the horses on her own. One of the best things about her is when I want to get on the horses and fix them for the kids so they can have these perfect rounds, she actually prefers to do it herself. A true horseman and a true rider is gonna come from one that wants to learn all aspects of it, not just having a winning round. And so I really appreciate that about her. She always wants to put her horse first – if it comes down to doing another class or whatever’s best for the horse she’s on, she chooses the welfare of the horse. The week before indoors, unfortunately her main horse couldn’t make it due to an injury, we leased another one, and that one had a bit of a sore foot also. She had the option to take him or not and she forfeited having a great indoors on a horse she knew, and left him at home to rest and recuperate, hoping to do another final on him. The welfare of the horse truly comes first for her. And that’s something that you don’t see all the time.”

“Georgia is a great student. She is interested and open everything that you have to say. She’s empathetic with the horses, but determined to make things work. She rode a very difficult horse for us and they did a wonderful job together after a brief warm-up. It is very difficult to adapt to that type of situation quickly, and I think she has a great empathy for the horse and tries to figure out what the horse needs immediately. With everyone in the barn, she’s polite and professional, interested and cheers on the other kids. She’s very much in favor of anybody in the barn which I think is a huge thing. “
